Queen of Three by janetctran Queen of Three by janetctran
Queen Margaery Tyrell or as I named the painting the Queen of Three. (Daenerys is allegedly prophesied to be a woman of three, but thus far, we know Margaery is playing the Game quite well.) The Tyrell sigil rests in the back. She is not based on the HBO model so please no comparisons...I think the actress is lovely but I had my own image and wanted to capture it.

This is watercolor on 9x12 and I forced myself to complete it in a day. Since I am not as enamored with A Song of Ice and Fire I find I can paint it more easily than any of Tolkien's work.

No comparisons, whatsoever. She looks beautiful. Love the coloring and the different shades of gold. And the sigil at the back. Heck, love the whole picture;)

This is definitely closer to my vision of Margaery than the actress picked for the show - wonderful job!

This is the way I saw her too, actually =D I'm not convinced with the show Margaery, even if I like Nathalie Dorner. She has something ploty in her face that I didn't felt for this character wich is described as apparently over-innocent x)
Nice portrait ! :la:

I like this better than the actress chosen for the TV series. Your version is very delicate and feminine, which is more how I pictured her when I read the books.
